Mean Girls JR Camp (Grades 6-12)

$600

with CTS Staff

Calendar Jul 31, 2023 at 9 am, runs for 2 weeks

Our exciting two-week theatre camp is designed exclusively for young actors to participate in a culminating Concert Performance of Mean Girls JR. This immersive program is a perfect opportunity for budding and experienced performers to unleash their creativity, develop their skills, and ignite their passion for the stage. Modeled on Broadways “ENCORES” series, the concert performance will use minimal staging and costumes and sets but will give the students the opportunity to embark on a thrilling rehearsal process filled with fun, learning, and camaraderie. Our expert team of experienced theatre professionals will guide and mentor the young actors through a variety of engaging workshops, rehearsals, and performances, all aimed at honing their talents and building their confidence. Beyond the workshops and rehearsals, the camp will foster a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging collaboration, friendship, and mutual respect among the participants. Team-building activities, theatre games, and group discussions will provide opportunities for participants to bond and create lasting memories with fellow young actors who share their love for the stage.

At the end of the camp, participants will not only have gained valuable acting skills but will also have developed a deep appreciation for the art of theatre. They will leave with enhanced confidence, a greater understanding of teamwork, and a strong foundation to pursue their dreams in the world of performing arts. Join us for an unforgettable two weeks of theatrical exploration, growth, and joy as we nurture the next generation of talented young actors!
