Civic Theatre of Allentown

Civic's Act Out Loud Camp is a two week summer theatre intensive for rising 7th-12th graders. Students will engage in an Audition Workshop that includes individual mentorship, and confidence building exercises concluding with auditions for Mean Girls Jr. Please pay attention to the specific times for auditions, regular intensive classes, and performance dates and times.

Audition Workshop: 

July 27th 12-4PM

Learn the art of auditioning with confidence and receive individual mentorship from industry professionals as you prepare your audition for Mean Girls Jr. Come with 16 bars of music and a 1min monologue. Auditions will take place July 28th 12-4PM

Mean Girls Jr Production Intensive:

July 28- August 6th 9AM-4PM

Spend two weeks rehearsing the "totally fetch" pop musical adapted from Tina Fey's Blockbuster hit! There's a role for everyone! This program offers the opportunity to work with Lehigh Valley emerging artists and professionals to rehearse and perform this musical. 

Show Dates: August 6 & 7 @ 7:30pm Call time is 6pm.

Enrolling in this course is a commitment to the rehearsal schedule and performances, and is only open to rising 7th to 12th graders. There will be a final class Aug 6 9AM-4PM and students must return for the 6pm call time for the first performance that evening.
